recycled sweater

my first listing of recycled sweater yarn is up on etsy! here’s how it knits up.  sorry this has been so shop filled lately, but these are big steps for me!  there shouldn’t be too much more to come - maybe just hat and mitt kits.

  1. hi cosy, just wanted to say thanks for the links you put up a while ago here regarding thrifting yarn. my girlfriend’s mom is here in minneapolis for the weekend with us from jersey, for mother’s day. she’s a huge thrift shopper and she has bought me a 100% wool scottish cabled sweater. it’s definitely not my style and is a little rough feeling but i’m hoping to be able to recreate it into something else. i’m going to give it a try thanks to all of the great info you always have! can you point me towards the easiest way of dying it (it’s cream at the moment). i’m a beginner at this stuff. thanks again, have a great weekend! yvette
