fruit bowl

with yarn. monday we recieved our organic delivery box and yesterday i recieved some of the most lovely yarn from abby of feral feminine.  both very necessary :) i highly recommend also taking a glance at abby’s flickr photos. they are certainly drool-worthy. i also used her yarn in this hat.

anyhow, this lovely stuff is, in fact, this amazing self-striping funness. and it is the last of the handspun yarn that i am recieving for the book.  it has been so fun to figure out what projects go with which yarn and to recieve packages of yarn in the mail.  and on that note, i am almost done with all of the book projects! hurrah! hurrah! hurrah… (clears throat) hope they’re good…

so thank you abby! and also rachel-marie! and also daniela! you’re all amazing spinners and i am honored that you let me work in your yarns for the book. thank you so much for your gifted hands and kind hearts and i hope my knitting did your yarns justice.
