i sold most of that last batch and decided i was kidding myself that i may turn this rainbow chard into kits before IKS… so i’ve added a new batch of yarn if anyone’s interested!

hi fibery friends,
i am writing to let any of you in the pittsburgh area know that i am closing out my yarn lines. i am not planning to stop dyeing, but i think there will be little to none for the next 3 years. my husband is entering a full time doctorate program as well as continuing to work and i believe it will take all of my energy to feed and take care of the littles, along with work on Indie Knit and Spin and designing.
note: this is a pretty pic, not a pic of the yarn i have left
and so with that in mind, i am selling the yarn that i have left at $10 a skein (usually $16) and am offering it up to pgh folks first. if you are interested in coming shopping or want to know if i have any yarn of a particular weight/color, send me an email at cosymakes(!at)gmail(dot!)com. i have a pretty flexible schedule for folks who want to come look.

Knit the Bridge!
If you haven’t checked out this awesome Pittsburgh community-wide yarn bombing – please do! I believe it will be perhaps the largest yarn bombing… ever? Click here to check it out.
It has been a pretty awesome community fiber arts project to be involved with. So even though I didn’t knit any panels, I did do some designing and dyeing for them. The designs and the yarn are now available in this indiegogo campaign. Also, cool t-shirts and other fun stuff.

it is the last month at the studio! check out what is happening here. there’s lots going on. you can also expect to see a (baby) sweater design workshop towards the end of the month (probably the 27th). clearly we are going out with a BANG!
one very special event is the re-skeining of the exclusive Knit the Bridge colorways that i (and a few friends) dyed… happening on the 14th. good stuff. i hope if you haven’t made it to the studio yet, you can come to one of these events. plenty of them are just of the knitting/chatting/spinning sort.
